My Story
“Design isn’t just wireframe and visual; it’s about how to link up the business, team, and the user.”
I am Boaz Chan, a UX designer from Hong Kong with 10 years of experience crafting functional and delightful user experiences. After graduating from the Interactive Media Design department at Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2015, I honed my skills across diverse industries, including travel, the sharing economy, e-commerce, financial services, and government services.
In 2018, I joined AJA Creative, a leading User Experience design agency in Taiwan. Collaborating with well-known brands across various industries, I designed innovative products and effectively aligned clients' business objectives with design strategies. I excelled at establishing efficient cooperation models among design, business, and development teams, maximizing the value of user experience across departments and stakeholders.
Returning to Hong Kong in 2022, I joined DIGIQAL, a startup under PwC HK. This experience provided valuable insights into collaborating within a well-established organizational structure, working with individuals from diverse departments and backgrounds. I leveraged my UX knowledge to introduce improved collaboration practices, striving for optimal outcomes.
In October 2023, I joined HKTVmall, eager to delve into the operations of e-commerce and its corresponding design strategies. I aim to leverage my UX/UI design skills to support hktvmall's operational strategies, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for all users.Currently, I am seeking new opportunities to collaborate with talented individuals in an inspiring work environment. I am passionate about applying my UX skills to solve a wider range of challenges and make a tangible impact.
